JAMMU, Mar 30: Government today ordered reshuffle in the civil administration, assigning new roles to five IAS and one JKAS officers.
As per the Government order, Nazim Zai Khan (IAS, AGMUT 2013) has been transferred from his position as Mission Director, Mission Vatsalya/ Shakti (ICPS), J&K, and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.

In another key reshuffle, Sagar Doifode Dattatray (IAS, AGMUT 2014), who was serving as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department. He will also hold additional charge as Mission Director of the Holistic Development Agriculture Programme (HADP) and J&K Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP). Meanwhile, Sandeep Kumar has been relieved of these additional responsibilities and directed to await further posting orders in the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Further, Shreya Singhal (IAS, AGMUT, 2020), currently Managing Director of J&K Tourism Development Corporation, has been assigned the additional charge of Director, Information, J&K, which she will assume from April 1, 2026, alongside her existing responsibilities. Additionally, Mahima Madan has been divested of the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Resident Commission, New Delhi.
Among other changes, Amit Gupta (IAS, AGMUT 2023) has been posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Pahalgam, while Rajesh Kumar Shavan has been transferred as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu.
