JAMMU, Mar 31: Rescue teams today recovered the body of the third teenager, who had drowned along with two other boys in the Tawi River, near Sainik School Nagrota on the outskirts of Jammu on Sunday.
The body of Sonam Dutt (16) was found around 200 metres downstream from the site of the incident, a police official said.

According to him, bodies of two other missing teenagers, Aditya Pandit (15) and Bavish Koul (15) were recovered on Monday. All the deceased were residents of Jagti Migrant Colony.
The police official said they were playing volleyball on the riverbank before they entered the River water to take a bath and were subsequently swept away by the strong water current.
He said a rescue operation was immediately launched by the police and other agencies, including SDRF, NDRF, and Army divers, to trace them.
“After hectic efforts, the body of third missing boy Sonam Dutt was recovered some 200 metres downstream from the site of incident today,” he said.
He said all the bodies have been handed over to their legal heirs after conducting the post-mortem examinations at Government Medical College Jammu.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the tragic incident and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
“The loss of young lives is heart-wrenching. My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. We stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
“Chief Minister expressed profound sorrow over the tragic drowning of three young boys at Jagti, Nagrota. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and solace for them in this hour of grief,” the Office of Chief Minister wrote on X.
