JAMMU, Apr 1: Jodhamal Public School hosted an insightful and engaging workshop for its faculty on the theme “Impact of Mass Media and Transformative Teaching Pedagogies.” The session was conducted by Dr Tanvi Gupta, State Taxation Officer, along with Harish Raina, eminent educationist and Senior Regional Manager at Prachi India Pvt. Ltd.
The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from all teachers of Jodhamal Public School and focused on the evolving role of mass media in shaping perceptions, learning behaviors, and classroom dynamics in the 21st century.
Dr Tanvi Gupta shared valuable insights on the growing influence of media in everyday life and emphasized the importance of guiding students to navigate information responsibly while developing analytical and ethical perspectives. She encouraged educators to become facilitators of informed thinking in an age dominated by digital media.
Harish Raina, who has trained over one lakh teachers across India, spoke passionately about transformative teaching methodologies. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, he motivated educators to move beyond conventional classroom practices and embrace innovation, adaptability, and learner-centric approaches for meaningful impact.
