DODA, Apr 1: SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline and dedication in policing.
Addressing the newly posted Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) of District Doda during a briefing session here today, Mehta urged the officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity and remain steadfast in their commitment to public service.
Outlining key directions, he stressed the need for maintaining law and order, ensuring prompt and effective response to public grievances and conducting thorough, impartial and quality investigations with timely disposal of cases.
Highlighting the significance of community policing, SSP Doda advised the officers to build strong rapport with the public through transparency, accountability, and regular interaction, thereby strengthening public trust in the Police.
Special emphasis was laid on tackling drug abuse and other emerging social challenges, with directions to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing such issues effectively.
The SSP further advised the officers to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, upholding the image of J&K Police while serving the people efficiently.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion during which the newly posted officers shared their views and reaffirmed their commitment to serve with sincerity and professionalism.
