The attack on the two women of B Phainom village,who were paraded naked in Manipur on May 4, was spontaneous, authorities said, adding ‘no fake video’ of villages burnt and women raped had triggered it. “The attackers were raiding about nine villages in the area since May 3 night, the day the crisis started in the state. Next day this incident (the women being paraded naked) happened,” a senior security source said.
