Bengaluru Police arrested a 29-year-old-data engineer from America on charges of trying to open the emergency door of an aeroplane flying from Paris to Bengaluru on the intervening night of July 15-16. The accused — who was identified as Venkat Mohit Pathipati, a native of Rajamundri in Andhra Pradesh — was arrested on July 16.
