The parliamentary standing committee on law and justice, in a report tabled in Parliament, has recommended that the judges of the Supreme Court and high courts should mandatorily declare their assets as is the case for politicians and bureaucrats. Declaration of assets by the judges of the higher judiciary will only bring more trust and credibility into the system, it noted.
