SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday recorded 274 new positive cases of Covid, 113 from Jammu division and 161 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 317250.
During the past 24 hours, six corona related deaths were also reported, four from Jammu the Division and two from the Valley.
Moreover, 461 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 177 from Jammu Division and 284 from Kashmir Division.
Besides this, 89.06 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.
The Bulletin also informs that No confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 30 in the UT of J&K.
According to the daily Media Bulletin, out of 317250 positive cases, 3774 are Active Positive, 309133 have recovered and 4343 have died; 2119 in Jammu division and 2224 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 10255161 test results available, 9937911 samples have been tested as negative till today. Till date 2479558 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 10200 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3774 in isolation and 242349 in home surveillance. Besides, 2218892 persons have completed their surveillance period.
