Twelve people, including a six-year-old girl, were killed and 23 others injured in a collision between a mini-bus and a stationary truck on the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi expressway in India. This is the second major accident on the expressway in three months. The victims were returning from a religious visit when the accident occurred. The mini-bus driver claimed he did not see the truck until it was too late. Two officers from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) have been booked in connection with the accident.
