How investors lose Rs 3.39 cr in share-trading fraud

The Pune city police are investigating a share trading fraud worth Rs 3.39 crore committed by an investment firm that had offices in Pune and Mumbai. At least 90 investors from Pune were promised high returns on their investments every month but ended up being cheated. The firm, run by five people, including two women, lured investors to invest amounts ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 26 lakh. The police have registered a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust against the suspects. The firm’s office has been found locked for six months, and the police are seeking further investigation.
