Ambulance service denied, Bengal woman dies on way to hospital

A woman in Malda had to be carried on shoulders for 10km to a hospital after public carriers refused to transport her due to bad road conditions. When she finally reached the hospital, she was pronounced dead. The incident has sparked protests and blame has been placed on the local administration and the state government for neglecting road repairs. The villagers are questioning why the roads haven’t been developed despite funds allocated by the government.
