Multiple accidents occurred due to dense fog across several states, resulting in at least 12 fatalities and numerous injuries. In one tragic incident in Telangana, a family faced two accidents within a few hours. Three members died in a collision between their mini van and a lorry while heading to claim the body of a relative who had died in a bike accident on the same stretch earlier. Three others from the family were injured, one critically. Another pedestrian died in the initial bike accident, and the van driver lost his life in the subsequent collision. In Rajasthan, three tourists from Gujarat died in a head-on collision in Barmer district.
