COVID-19 SoPs: 4,612 violators fined throughout valley

SRINAGAR: Continuing its efforts to curb outbreak of 2nd wave of coronavirus, during last 24 hours Police has realized fine amounting to Rs 5,51,420 from 4,612 people throughout Kashmir valley for violating various guidelines/ rules/ SoPs regarding COVID-19. Besides, 7 vehicles were also seized in Shopian for violating COVID norms.
The special drive against violators of COVID-19 guidelines/ rules continued throughout all the districts of Kashmir Valley to ensure that people adhere to SoPs/ guidelines envisaged by government to curb COVID-19 pandemic. Community members are once again requested to cooperate with Police in containing spread of Coronavirus by following SoPs/ guidelines/ protocols for their own safety and for safety of others. The special drive shall continue throughout the districts of Kashmir Valley to strengthen the safety measures.
