RAMBAN, Mar 29: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar foiled a narcotics smuggling bid at Gool and arrested one person with Chitta.
A Police party from Police Station Gool while conducting patrolling duty stopped one pedestrian who disclosed his identity as Asif Iqbal, son of Mohd Rafiq Najar, resident of Shurkundi Dalwah, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban.
During checking Chitta like substance weighing 16 grams was recovered from his possessions.
A case in FIR No. 30/2024 under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Gool in this regard and investigations started.
