JAMMU, Nov 8: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 9.5 grams of heroin-like-substance in Bishnah and Akhnoor areas in Jammu district, officials said.
While one Aryan Sharma of Kanhal, Bishnah was arrested with a consignment of 6 grams another individual identified as Amardeep Singh of Bhadral Kallan, tehsil Akhnoor, district Jammu, was arrested from Pannu Chowk area of Akhnoor with 3.5 grams of heroin-like-substance, they said.
Both the accused have been booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act registered at Police Stations Bishnah and Akhnoor and further investigations taken up.
