Secy H&ME releases Dr Abdul Ghani’s book

JAMMU, Nov 23: Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education (H&ME), Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah today released the book entitled “Musculoskeletal Pain Management” authored by Dr Abdul Ghani. This book is published by JAYPEE Publishers.
Among the other dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr Ashutosh Gupta (Principal, GMC Jammu), Dr Pawan Malhotra (Principal, ASCOMS), Dr Naveen Thakar (Officiating president, Indian Orthopaedic Association), Dr Ram Chadda from Mumbai, Dr Goutam Zaveri (president, Bombay Spinal Society), Dr Altaf Kawoosa (HoD Orthpaedics, GMC Srinagar), Dr Rajesh Gupta (HoD Orthopaedics, ASCOMS Jammu), Dr Sanjeev Gupta (HoD Orthopaedics, GMC Jammu) and many others.
Subsequently, a celebration function was held at GMC Jammu where all the authors were honoured. Dr Anita Vig Kohli got best chapter award.
Dr Abdul Ghani, the chief editor of this book, did his MS Ortho from AIIMS Delhi and then went to the United Kingdom, where he worked for more than 5 years and also did MRCS from Edinburg. He is currently working as Professor at GMC Jammu. He is also the convener of the Jammu Trauma Society.
With extensive expertise in Orthopaedics fracture management and joint replacement, Dr Ghani is deeply involved in medical education, contributing valuable insights into contemporary approaches to patient care. He has already authored various books including ‘secrets of scoring more marks and passing any exam easily’, ‘how to unleash your potential and achieve success: the key soft skills’ and competency based logbook for undergraduates.
