JAMMU, Dec 4: Police in Jammu’s Miran Sahib area claimed today they have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest for the past three years.
A police official said that Fazi Gujjar of Dak Banglow, Maralian, RS Pura, Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 62/2018 under sections 353, 336, 147, and 148 of the RPC registered at Police Station Miran Sahib.
Three years after his arrest, he absconded in the year 2021, said the police official.
He was arrested today by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned, Inspector Bopinder Singh, under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and SP Headquarters IH Rather, the police official further said, adding that he will be now produced in the court of law to execute the arrest warrant issued against him under section 512 of the CrPC.
