JAMMU, Feb 9: Jammu-based NGO, Healthy India Stronger India (HISI), led by Chairman Hira Lal Abrol, awarded certificates and notebooks to 75 students who successfully completed free skill development courses at its Skill Development Center in Raghunathpura.
The event was attended by dignitaries including KK Gupta (DIG Retired), Dalbir Singh (Principal Retired), Vinod Manhas and Ashok Khajuria. HISI provides free training in tailoring, beautician courses, computer literacy, music & dance, and operates a free library, ensuring education for all, regardless of religion or caste.
Abrol emphasized the importance of skill-based education in empowering underprivileged youth, urging them to work hard for a brighter future. The NGO also supports students in launching businesses through loan facilities.
With over 7,000 beneficiaries, HISI plays a vital role in community welfare, organizing free medical camps and relief programs. The event concluded with Shri Ram Stuti, reflecting HISI’s core values of service and dedication.
