KATHUA, Feb 17: Students from Spring Dales English School, Kathua, made a significant mark at Pragyaan- an Open Day 2025, hosted by IIT Jammu. The event, designed to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education, saw participation from PMSHRI and ATL schools.
A total of 30 students from Spring Dales attended, with six of them presenting their innovative projects. These projects were developed in the school’s Atal Tinkering Lab and have participated in State and National level competitions. Notable projects included State Locator by Yashodhan (Top 10 finalist in Toycathon), Zap Shoe by Vidhan (Techno fest 2025), Medication Reminder by Bharghav, Cliff Guard Car by Dakshesh (Pragaash 2024) and Aqua Fina by Sachi and Sadhya (IIT Delhi).
Shashank of Class 9th won a prize for answering the most questions in the Space Quiz. Prof. R.K. Gupta, Director of Spring Dales, lauded the students for their creativity and problem-solving skills.
