Awareness Camp for unorganised sector workers held

JAMMU, Mar 3: Dogra Sewa Sambhal Trust here today organised an awareness camp at Gangyal for the workers of unorganised sector.
On this occasion, BJP leader and former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria distributed tool kits to the workers and informed them about public welfare schemes of the government.
He said that the tool kits will help the workers to set up their own business.
The BJP leader also informed that aim of the Trust was not only to provide tool kits, but also to empower the youth to become self-reliant.
Billawaria said that the tool kit was provided to those who have received technical training, so that they can use their skills to work independently.
He gave information about Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM) scheme of PM Modi led government to the workers of unorganized and said that workers from 18 to 40 years of age from unorganized sector can apply under this scheme and they will be given a pension of Rs. 3,000 every month after the age of 60.
Dogra Sewa Sambhal Trust president, Rajeev Sharma said if the workers from unorganized sector need any kind of help, the Trust is always ready for that.
