JAMMU: With the exceptional efforts of the Adhoc Committee of the J&K Amateur Fencing Association, the first ever district championship was organised at the remote district of Doda.
The two-day event, which was marked by a coaching camp and followed by the competition, involved over 120 boys and girls representing various educational institutions and clubs.
The competition held at Green Model Higher Secondary School. Besides Doda, the Committee reached out to the talented stuff at a couple of other districts and organised maiden events at Ramban and Anantnag.
Earlier, at Doda, the coaching camp conducted by international fencer from J&K, Ujjwal Gupta.
