HIRANAGAR: Paying tributes to martyrs, Punjab National Bank settled accidental claims under PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme of the Bank for the Salary account holders of armed forces of the nation. Yatender Kumar (DGM) Circle Head Jammu circle handed over a cheque of Rs. 3000000 (Rs Thirty lakh) monetary compensation to nominee Sarfi Devi mother of the Martyr Parveen Singh in a simple ceremony held at branch office Hiranagar.
Late Parveen Singh (Riflemen) No 13780033H 22th Task Force was maintaining his salary account under PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme with Punjab National Bank Hiranagar expired on 26.03.2021 and his family lodged claim documents with branch for grant of monetary compensations available to PNB Rakshak Plus Accounts which was settled on priority and amount handed over the family.
At Samba, another cheque of Rs 30,00,000/- (Rs. Thirty Lakhs) handed over as monetary compensation to nominee Kamlesh Devi mother of Martyr Parbhat Singh in branch office Samba. Late Parbhat Singh (Sepoy) No 20009861M of 17TH Dogra Regiment was also maintaining his salary account under PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme with Punjab National Bank Samba expired on March 14, 2021. Family members of the both the deceased Late Sh. Parveen Singh & Parveen Singh thanked authorities of Punjab National Bank for such a beneficial scheme for the Armed Forces of India and early settlement of claim.
Yatender Kumar, (DGM) Circle Head, Jammu Circle informed that as per the MOU between Punjab National Bank and Indian Army a special PNB Rakshak Plus Package Scheme is launched extending to all serving and veterans with monetary compensation under personal accidental death/permanent disablement insurance upto Rs 30.00 Lakh, air accident (death) cover of Rs 1.00 crore along with other features like financial assistance for education of dependent child of PAI case concessional rate of interest in housing, educational, personal and car loans and exclusive debit and credit cards.
