POONCH: To pay homage to the martyrs of District Police Poonch and in continuation of Police Flag Day programmes, a volleyball match was organised wherein Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Club emerged winner.
In this exhibition game, Manjit Club defeated Makhdoomi Club Jallian 2-0 at GDC grounds, here. The score: 25:21, 30:28. Sidarat Hussain, Waseem Akram and Imran Khan were officials. Additional SP Poonch, Liyaqat Choudhary was the Chief Guest. The event was organized by Sachin Gupta (DySP DAR). Other officers who were present on the occasion were Manish Sharma (DySP Operations), Nawaz Ahmed (DySP Hqrs); Mohd Tariq (chairman Shaheed Manjit Club) and Ramiz Tariq.
