UDHAMPUR: Former National Volleyball player and social worker, Swarn Singh Rathore today encouraged young Handball players at the fast growing training facility at Mini Stadium, here.
During interaction, he shared his experiences and struggle to play represent the State at the National level. Speaking to other senior players and coaches, Rathore assured of help in upgrading the existing facilities around Handball arena at the Mini Stadium.
“We are getting encouraging response from senior players in our efforts to motivate youngsters to the sports fields. Such gestures further motivate us devote more to the sports,” said veteran player and an official of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Rishi Sharma.
Among others who interacted with visiting guest were Karun Mangotra, Ravi Kumar, Sourav Pandit, Manmeet Singh, Vipan Photora and Sanjeev Sharma.
