KISHTWAR, Apr 18: A major portion of Kishtwar- Padder road today sank at Singra Nallah, Pathar Naki amidst continues landslide cutting off the entire Padder Sub Division from the rest of district.
About 22 families have been affected due to the calamity in Pathar Naki area.
District administration has given tents and other things to the affected families which have shifted to safer places.
Locals claim that uncontrolled blasting by the agencies constructing Keru Hydro Electric Project was responsible for the continuous slides.
District administration was monitoring the situation till last reports.
