NSUI takes out solidarity march for Kashmiri students facing violence

SRINAGAR, Apr 30: Jammu & Kashmir unit of NSUI organized a solidarity march in support of Kashmiri students facing violence post-Pahalgam terror attack, here today.
Under the leadership of NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra, the solidarity march was taken out from MA Road to Lal Chowk in Srinagar. NSUI condemned the alleged attacks on Kashmiri students and expressed solidarity with them demanding their safety and security.
NSUI leader called for unity among all communities to uphold the values of peace, harmony, and Kashmiriyat. “NSUI pledges to work relentlessly to ensure justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack and to safeguard the rights and dignity of Kashmiri students across India,” Lakhotra said. NSUI leader stressed that Kashmiris are peace-loving people with a rich tradition of hospitality and The recent terror attack does not reflect the spirit of Kashmiriyat. NSUI is committed to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors here, he added.
During the march, a special mention was made for NSUI activist Shanai Umar, whose dedication and leadership were instrumental in mobilizing students for the cause. Mir Iqbal, Adil Farooq, Yasir Handoo and NSUI activists Sheel Kumar, Rahul, Rakesh, Mohsin, Ubaid, Sohail, Zubair, Sahil and others made tireless efforts in making the event a success.
