Healthy India Stronger India organises Diwali Milan

JAMMU: Annual Diwali Milan is a special celebration that is regularly arranged by the Head Office of Healthy India Stronger India at Raghunath Pura Jammu.
It was an in house event where Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, Healthy India Stronger India (HISI) was the Chief Guest.
The celebration started with lighting of traditional lamp, followed by Ganesh Puja and Aarti of Maha Lakshmi.
Chairman distributed sweets, certificates and suits material to the students of HISI who performed this special Puja and praised Goddess Lakshmi by their Bhajans and dance performances.
While addressing the staff and students of Healthy India Stronger India, Hira Lal Abrol inspired them to celebrate this Diwali by lighting their residences with local hand-made diyas and by bursting eco-friendly crackers.

He encouraged the staff and students to exhibit a moral behaviour in their actions towards others and to respect all beings, irrespective of their backgrounds.
This year’s celebration was done with a limited gathering by following the COVID appropriate behaviour along with the members of the NGO, Dalbir Singh, Shammi Slathia, Rajkumar, Akhil Sharma, Ramneek Sharma, Darbar Singh and Vinay Sagar.
Students of the NGO were distributed sweets, woollen clothes , ladies suits. Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO founded by its Chairman, Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a ‘Free Training Centre’ for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training center offers 3 months, free courses in Basic Computers; Cutting & Tailoring Classes; Beautician Course, Vocal Music, Dance as well as Free Library for the students. Nearly 3550 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this center and have been placed in various organizations.
