JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani proudly organized the much-awaited Inter-House Swimming Meet 2025 at its state-of-the-art swimming complex, setting the stage for an electrifying display of talent, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Head Girl, Riya Slathia, followed by the traditional oath-taking ceremony, wherein participants pledged to uphold the values of discipline, fair play, and camaraderie.
The poolside resonated with cheers as swimmers competed in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and relay races across various age groups. The energy of the relay races, in particular, drew thunderous applause from parents and peers alike, turning the atmosphere into a true celebration of sporting excellence.
Students exhibited remarkable agility, resilience, and determination, leaving the audience spellbound and earning admiration for their competitive spirit.
The Chief Guest, Ajay Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Jammu South, lauded the participants for their exceptional efforts and praised the school for nurturing young talents by providing them platforms to excel. He emphasized that sports instill resilience, confidence, and leadership, qualities essential to success in every field. His inspiring address was met with loud cheers from the gathering.
The event was graced by the presence of Raj Daluja, Chairman, JK Educational Society; Patron Neelam Daluja; Shashi Chaudhary, Director, JK Educational Society; Former Principal Pushpa Chawla; Members of the Management-Siddharth Daluja, Sara Daluja, and Gautam Daluja; Principal Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal Roopinder Kour; School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour; Primary Wing Coordinator Anju Raj; Toddlers’ World Coordinator Shivangani Pangotra-along with staff, students, and parents.
The much-coveted Championship Trophy was lifted by Tagore House, with Tilak House securing the runner-up position. Among the individual achievers, Jaiwardhan Singh was declared Best Swimmer (Boys) for the second consecutive year, while Dhriti Gupta clinched the title of Best Swimmer (Girls).
The meet concluded with the medal distribution ceremony, followed by the formal declaration of closure by Pushpa Chawla, Former Principal. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Head Boy, Adarshpreet Singh, who acknowledged the collective efforts of management, coordinators, staff, and students in making the event a grand success.
With the culmination of the Inter-House Swimming Meet, the school swimming pool will remain closed for the winter season from Wednesday, 17th September 2025, and will reopen in the forthcoming summer session as per schedule.
