Canara Bank contributes Rs 25 lakh to CM’s Relief Fund

Srinagar, Sept 19: Canara Bank, one of the leading public sector banks in India, today contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The bank’s contribution is aimed at supporting people affected by the recent floods in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The cheque was presented to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah by the bank’s Circle Head, Manoj Kumar Das.
He was accompanied by Prashant Kumar, Regional Head, and Sheikh Aaqib, Senior Manager.
In a post on ‘X’, the CM’s office also informed about the development, stating that the Chief Minister appreciated the contribution.
“Canara Bank today presented a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Chief Minister towards the Relief Fund as donation for the flood-affected people in J&K. The Chief Minister appreciated and acknowledged the generous contribution by the Bank,” the CM’s office stated.
