Being no-mind is nothing but a dead state of mind. We say no-mind is dead, but it is not dead. As Krishna says, a tortoise can hide inside the shell and come out whenever he wants. Your five senses are operating outside, change the gear and come inside – blank.
One day you will see, the outside world is over, the materialistic, ‘Mayavi’ world is over, and you are completely inside now. You are in the boat of God now- and that boat of God will take you to ‘The God Home’. The mind, which was completely attached, completely inside, thinking of lust, anger, greed, ego and attachment, had brought these five inside in its thoughts, and had made life sad, disturbed, distressed, completely depressed. If you use those Godly words externally, just through your lips and senses, ego will return.
If I am continuously reciting some ‘Paath’ (lesson) or saying Ram-Ram, I am going to Temple, Gurudwara, all these are outside. When you bring the mind, donation and ‘Seva’ etc, also become the part of your materialistic world.
God is not for the outside but for the inside. We have brought God from the inside to the outside. Why do we have idols in the Temple? Why have we brought the God outside? Because our thoughts for God are also moving outside. We have brought the God from the inside to the outside, Temple, Gurudwara, Mosque, Churches and all. If you go into the theory of these Godly people, right from Buddha, Mahavira, Jesus, Prophet Muhammad, Kabir, Farid, Guru Nanak Dev, Ram Paramhans, Sai Baba, Meera Bai, Sahajo Bai, Lalla Bai, Socrates, Lao Tzu, you will find that the moment their minds stopped working inside, no one ever went to Temple, Gurudwara, Mosque or Church. Now they had the live God inside – live God! They were deep in worship with the live God, because they knew the outside Temples will be closed, as they had their opening and closing time. But my God Temple is always open, with every breath, for 24 hours. I am with my God, by changing of gear from outside to inside, any moment any time, I am busy with my God.
In the outside Temples there is timing and all, they are manipulating God. They keep God as per their privilege, as per their relaxation, but my God is 24 hours with me. I am because of my God. I am nothing without him. He is the one, I am zero!
That’s why it is said- the game of mind! Mind can bring outside; mind can bring inside. The state of mind to no-mind, outside is mind, inside no-mind, the senses are outside, not inside. This is the state of enlightenment. What is enlightenment? Krishna said ‘Sthiti-Pragya’, Guru Nanak Dev said ‘Sachiyar’. It is the state of mind not working inside. Whenever any thought comes, taking the decision of the outside world, just throwing it out, locked out. Not thinking after the decision is taken, and inside, I am in a relaxed state. The more I go deep inside in the no-mind, the outside world will be disappearing and one day you will find you are no more in the outside world. That’s why all these, Buddha, Mahavira and all Godly people, got retired so early from the outside world. Because the moment you get connected to the inside, the no-mind world, bliss comes. The word Bliss has come from bless. God blesses you with the bliss, which means all the time you are with God.
This is what you have to train your mind to think outside, only in materialistic things. Whenever and wherever you are -at work, in responsibilities- use it as required, and the remaining time you should not use your mind for the outside world but be no-mind.
No-mind will bring you inside in the Godly world, and inside in the Godly world means you will be in bliss, because your thoughts are completely in God. After death- after the life departs from this body- you will be going to the real Godly world, where all the physical Godly people who appeared on this Earth, will be meeting you. That one is the immortal home, where you get the immortal body. The immortal body is like this physical body on which you can put clothes. You can change your face there. Immortal body means never dying, no birth or the death. The birth or death is of this physical body, till you use your mind inside.
The moment, you utilize your mind for the outside and not for the inside, your thoughts are pure with God inside. You are developed or civilized, that moment is called the enlightenment. Enlightenment means going back home from where you started your journey. That’s what is the function of mind. Now, we will come back to the statement of Lord Krishna about the vital part in your body- the mind, which is misinterpreted, misused and misguided by all in the world, other than the seven hundred people who I say are enlightened in this world at present out of 7 billion. Rest all are just doing business, because the blind follows the blind. Otherwise, there is nothing like inside. The inside is just to think over, and not to bring the thoughts of the outside world inside.
