UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: With the arrest of accused persons, Rehambal Police have solved a case of theft of two batteries from a Truck attached with Jal Shakti Department and recovered the stolen batteries.
On the written complaint of one person namely Kuldeep Kumar of Channi Morh, Udhampur, regarding theft of batteries from Truck number JK14B-8272, a case FIR number 153/2025, under section 305(e) BNS was registered at Police Station Rehambal.
During the course of investigation, the police team of PS Rehambal, led by SHO Parshotam Kumar, arrested two accused persons namely Pritam Singh son of Kali Dass of Garhi, Udhampur and Mohd Salim, son of Shah Mohd of Garhi, Udhampur.
On their disclosure, both the stolen batteries worth Rs 20,000 (approximately) were recovered.
