JYB launches “Vedic Pathshala”

JAMMU, Oct 5: A Sanskrit Pathshala (Gyan-Yagy Pathshala) organsied by Jammu Yatri Bhawan (JYB) was held here today.
The pathshala was inaugurated by Pawan Kumar Shastri, president JYB Trust and chief guest Ashu Gupta president, Transport Union Bus Stand.
The seventeen session of Vedic Pathshala commenced 60 students, mostly under 15, actively participated in the Vedic Pathshala.
They received comprehensive instructions on reciting “Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand path and besides above Dharma-Karma Gayan.
During a sharing session, the students impressively recited verses in Sanskrit and then skillfully translated them into both English and Hindi.
Their ability to recite and translate Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa was particularly noteworthy, earning appreciation from all presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kumar Shastri said, “This initiative not only preserves ancient wisdom but also fosters a sense of identity, community and spiritual growth among young minds, ensuring a vibrant cultural continuity for years to come.”
He emphasized that the Trust aims to continue these classes to enlighten the younger generation about Sanatan Dharma’s rich heritage by imparting knowledge of ancient’s scriptures like Shree Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa, Ramayana and Veda and Upanishad.
Among others who were present during the function included Arun Shastri, Dr Ajay Shastri, Sukhdev Sharma and others.
