SRINAGAR, Oct 5: The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Srinagar today kicked off a media tour for journalists as part of its ongoing outreach initiatives.
The tour, scheduled to continue until October 11, aims to provide regional journalists with firsthand exposure to key Central Government initiatives and programmes.
A 14-member press delegation, comprising journalists from Srinagar and Jammu, along with PIB officials, is participating in the tour.
Ahead of the departure, Qazi Salman, Director PIB Srinagar, briefed the delegation, outlining the objectives of the visit and encouraging journalists to engage constructively during interactions.
The tour is being conducted under the supervision of Neha Jalali, Director of PIB Jammu, who is leading the delegation as the conducting officer.
The five-day itinerary in Mumbai (October 5-9, 2025) will include visits to several Central Government establishments and projects, as well as interactions with senior officials to understand their operations and functioning.
Addressing the participants, Salman said, “This visit will be an enriching experience, offering valuable insights into the functioning of key Government institutions and fostering stronger professional engagement.”
