Reasi, Oct 5: The District Reasi Cycling Championship 2025, organized by the Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir, concluded with enthusiastic participation across multiple categories including Elite, U-18, U-16, U-14, MTB and Girls. The event showcased the endurance, strength and competitive spirit of cyclists from the region.
In the Elite category, Rohit Verma claimed first place. The Girls’ Open category was topped by Manasvi Pandit, followed by Anoushka Pandit and Shivanshika. Under-16 winners included Saravdeep, Saksham Thakur and Anmol Sharma. In the Under-14 category, Arunesh Verma secured first place, with Shivansh and Amandeep Singh finishing second and third respectively.
The winners have qualified to represent District Reasi at the upcoming State Cycling Championship, where they will compete against top riders from Jammu and Kashmir. The event was graced by Om Parkash Sharma (General Secretary), S.S. Gill (Coordinator), Vishal Thakur and Ravi Sharma, who encouraged participants and appreciated their dedication.
