AIBOC celebrates 41st Foundation Day

JAMMU, Oct 6: All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) here today celebrated its 41st Foundation Day.
As part of the celebrations, a tree plantation drive was held in the premises of SBI Bahu Plaza which was followed by a grand cake-cutting ceremony.
AIBOC secretary J&K and Ladakh, Rajesh Mehta while speaking on the occasion said AIBOC’s glorious history is a glaring chronicle of sacrifice and commitment, a journey that stood rock-solid against onslaughts of time and stood strong to safeguard the integrity of public sector entities ensuring that banking remains an instrument of social transformation, economic empowerment and national prosperity.
“We reaffirm our solidarity with comrades in private sector and foreign banks who continue struggle for fair labour practices and we indorse our commitment to the banking fraternity regardless of sectorial status/holdings to uphold dignity, fairness and trade union rights for all alike,” he maintained adding: “We champion responsible innovation, continuous learning and up-skilling.”
