POONCH: Army organised an awareness lecture on “Winter Diseases and their Prevention” for the students of Govt High School Dara Dullian in District Poonch (J&K), with an aim to impart basic knowledge of the diseases which generally occur in winter season.
A large number of students attended the lecture. The audience was sensitized about health problems like respiratory diseases, skin problems, chilblains and other ailments caused due to extreme cold weather. During the lecture various preventive measures that can be taken to avoid such diseases were also told. The village populace appreciated and thanked Indian Army for conducting lectures and keeping them abreast with awareness on prevention of diseases.
