JAMMU, Oct 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will hold its nine-day autumn session in Srinagar from October 23 to 31, 2025.
According to the provisional calendar released by the Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather, the session will commence on October 23 with obituary references, while business proceedings will be held on six working days.
October 24 and 25 have been declared off-days, the first due to biennial elections for four Rajya Sabha seats from J&K and the second as a non-sitting day. October 26 will be a Sunday.
Government business will be taken up on October 27, 30, and 31, while October 28 and 29 have been scheduled for Private Members’ Bills and Resolutions, respectively.
