Security Forces Bust Terorists’ Hideout In J&K’s Kupwara, Recover Arms

Srinagar, Oct 9: Security forces today busted a terrorists’ hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including two AK-series rifles in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir
The Army said the recovery was made by a joint team of police and the Army in Brijthor forest, Warsun, Kupwara.
“Based on specific intelligence input, a joint operation was launched on October 8 by Indian Army and the Jammu-Kashmir Police in the general area of Brijthor Forest, Warsun, Kupwara. During the search, security forces busted a hideout and recovered two AK Series Rifles, four Rocket Launchers, a huge cache of ammunition and other war-like stores,” Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said.
