JAMMU, Oct 14: As the festive season approaches, Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery retail brand from the House of Tata, has launched its highlight of the season — ‘Mriganka’, an opulent jewellery collection inspired by mythical worlds, fantastical realms and India’s rich storytelling heritage.
Mriganka, brought to life by former Miss World and actor Manushi Chhillar, captures the essence of celestial gardens, floating palaces and ethereal creatures — transformed into timeless gold pieces. Designed for the modern Indian woman, the collection features cascading harams, statement rings, and versatile pendant sets crafted using advanced techniques such as stone-on-stone jadau, Badroom, Chandak, RasRava, and intricate jaali layering. With its eclectic mix of coloured kundan, enamel detailing, and 3D motifs, Mriganka is a bold fusion of imagination and craftsmanship.
In a landmark initiative, Tanishq has also announced its first-ever 0% deduction on gold exchange, across all karatages — even as low as 9KT — valid till October 21, 2025. This initiative aims to unlock the vast wealth of gold held in Indian households, estimated at 25,000 tonnes, to reduce the country’s dependence on gold imports, which currently account for 99% of supply.
To support this transformative campaign, Tanishq has partnered with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, symbolising trust and national pride. The campaign promotes not just jewellery exchange but participation in a broader nation-building movement towards self-reliance.
Ajoy Chawla, CEO, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Ltd., stated, “Every gram of exchanged gold helps families unlock value while supporting the nation’s vision of reducing imports.”
Revathi Kant, Chief Design Officer, Titan, added, “‘Mriganka’ invites wearers into a world of wonder — where rich Indian heritage meets magical artistry in jewellery that celebrates the festive spirit.”
