JAMMU: A CPR Training Workshop was conducted at Border Outpost Chamliyal under the aegis of 101 Bn BSF.

The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Ratnakar Sharma, HOD Surgery, GMCH Jammu, along with his team of doctors, in collaboration with BSF under the guidance of Commandant Narayan Prakash.
A total of 60 BSF troops participated in the training aimed at empowering border personnel with life-saving CPR skills to respond effectively during medical emergencies in border areas.
This workshop marks the first of its kind in Frontier Jammu and forms part of the Government of India’s nationwide CPR training programme, launched under NELS (National Emergency Life Support ) Programme by Ministry of Health and family Welfare to create a cadre of trained first responders.
Participants completing the session will be registered online and awarded Government-recognized certificates as Trained CPR Personnel.
The programme reflects BSF’s continued commitment towards operational readiness and humanitarian service to border communities.
