APS Samba holds function

JAMMU, Oct 18: Army Public School (APS) Samba organized a function in its premises with remarkable enthusiasm and pride.
The ceremony began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.
The highlight of the day was the formal induction of the Student Council, where the newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Cultural Secretary, House Captains, Vice Captains, and School Prefects took their oaths to uphold the school’s core values – integrity, discipline, and excellence.
Principal Sanjeev Pradhan pinned the badges of honor. In an empowering address, he encouraged the students to lead with empathy and innovation, reminding them that “true leadership begins with the courage to do what’s right, not what’s easy.”
The ceremony radiated energy, confidence, and youthful dynamism as the student council marched with poise, representing the future torchbearers of APS Samba.
Later, the Principal honoured three NCC girl cadets – Medha Sambyal, Vanshika Sharma and Tamanna Sharma – for their outstanding performance in the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) held recently at Delhi. They were awarded medals and blazers in recognition of their remarkable achievement.
