JAMMU, Oct 18: International Daily Rising School (IDRS) organized a function with great zeal and dignity in the school premises.
The event marked the formal investiture of the newly elected Student Council members for the academic session, signifying the School’s commitment to nurturing leadership and responsibility among students.
The ceremony was graced by Ritul Charak (Miss India Ultra Universe India 2025) as the chief guest, who inspired students with her words on confidence, perseverance and self-belief. Sanjeev Singh Manhas (ex-State co-convenor, Tourism BJP J&K) and Ravinder Singh Charak (senior BJP leader) adorned the occasion as special guests.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a soulful rendition invoking the blessings of the Almighty. A mesmerizing patriotic dance performance by the students filled the atmosphere with the spirit of nationalism and pride.
The highlights of the day included the oath-taking ceremony, where the young office bearers pledged to uphold the school’s motto and values. The proud moment of badging and sash presentation symbolized the transfer of responsibility and trust bestowed upon the council members.
The occasion also witnessed honoring of students for excellence in academics, co-curricular and sports achievements, celebrating their hard work and commitment. The cultural performances presented by students added color and vibrancy to the event.
Chairperson of the School, Supinder Kaur, in her address, motivated the students to lead with compassion, confidence and courage. Director Academics cum Principal, Dr Atul Hans highlighted the School’s continuous efforts in fostering holistic development. Managing Director, Raghav Gupta, expressed pride in the school’s growing legacy of discipline, leadership and excellence.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
