BAREILLY (UP), Oct 23: Nishad Party President and Cabinet Minister Dr Sanjay Nishad today said that if Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav claims to be a descendant of Krishna, then why doesn’t he raise his voice for the liberation of the birthplace of Mathura.
The Minister said, “If he can’t protect his own tradition, what will he do for others?” Regarding Akhilesh’s statement about lighting lamps, he said that those who make clay lamps are the true protectors of this country’s civilization and the opposition is questioning their employment. “Who makes the lamps? Prajapati makes them. He is poor because he fought the British. Our ancestors not only lit homes with clay lamps, but also lit the torch of independence. Those who are opposing the festival of lights should respect Indian culture,” he said.
Rejecting the opposition’s claims regarding the Bihar elections, he said, “We have been with the NDA since the Treta Yuga. The friendship between Lord Ram and Nishadraj is the root of our ideology. We are with the NDA and will remain so.” Dr. Nishad also targeted the BSP and said, “Governments have been formed four times, but only politics has been played in the name of backward classes. Neither an education commission was formed, nor any concrete steps taken. For the first time, the double-engine government has set the direction for everyone’s development.”
He said that they take votes in the name of the PDA, but the upper castes rule the government. “When Mayawati comes to power, Satish Mishra rules, and when the Cycle comes to power, it was Amar Singh’s, and now Mata Prasad Pandey’s company operates. The SP only takes votes in the name of backward classes, but all the work is done by those who oppose the backward classes,” he said.
The Nishad Party chief said, “Today, riots have stopped in Uttar Pradesh and rioters are afraid. Law and order has improved. Schemes are being implemented to empower women. The economy has improved, harmony has increased, and the state is on its way to becoming better.”
