JAMMU, Oct 25: Results of Civic Safai Karamchari Union, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) were announced here today and Rinku Gill has again emerged as winner for the third time.
On this occasion JMC Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav lauded the supporters of all the contesting candidates for showing maturity in conducting peaceful and smooth elections.
He said that he expect Gill will take all the Safai Saathis with him for resolution of their issues.
Rinku Gill thanked his supporters for a big victory and said that all the workers of JMC are part of his family.
“I will listen to all and will work for all including even those who contested against me,” he said. The newly elected president of Civic Safai Karamchari Union said that he will work on the issue of workers engaged by the NGO. Supporters of Gill danced and celebrated his victory.
