Cybercrime investigation course for police officers concludes at SKPA

UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: A five-day course on cybercrime investigation concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur today.
As per a statement, 18 police officers from various units of the Jammu and Kashmir Police attended the programme.
The valedictory function was presided over by SSP and Deputy Director (Indoor) Rajinder Kumar Gupta, who highlighted the growing challenge of cybercrimes in the digital era.
He emphasized the need for continuous learning and technical upskilling among police personnel to effectively tackle evolving cyber threats.
During the programme, experts from academia, law enforcement, and the cyber security field delivered lectures and interactive sessions on digital forensics, cyber laws, and preventive strategies. The Chief Guest distributed participation certificates to the trainees at the closing ceremony.
The course was coordinated by Inspector Vivek Kalsotra, assisted by HC Randip Singh.
