SAMBA, OCTOBER 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba Ayushi Sudan today reviewed the progress and implementation of Mission YUVA programme in the district.
At the outset, the DDC approved 67 new cases for sponsorship to different bank branches. While reviewing the Mission YUVA initiative, she emphasized the need to identify at least three trainers from each Government Degree College and University to strengthen the training ecosystem.
The Assistant Director Employment, Samba was directed to organize training programmes for Cluster Coordinators and Data Entry Operators under NRLM and to establish a Model SBDU structure within one month as per the approved norms.
Further, Degree Colleges were instructed to create awareness among the youth and college students regarding YUVA App installation and registration for various employment opportunities under Mission YUVA.
She also directed the Cluster Head, J&K Bank, to minimize the gap between the sanctioned and disbursed cases and to ensure timely sanctioning of all pending cases.
The DDC emphasized enterprise registration and uploading of vacancies by employers on the YUVA portal.
Highlighting the important role of YUVA Doots in the implementation of the programme, she directed them to publicize advertisements for SBDU/Motivators/Trainers for hybrid training courses to ensure maximum application registrations. They were also instructed to accelerate registration of applications for loan cases under Mission YUVA.
