UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: Udhampur Police has recovered a stolen bike, which was lifted in Majalta and also arrested the accused,
The bike bearing registration number JK14G-8908 and owned by Bushan Lal, son of Fakir Chand, resident of Bilaspur, Kathua, who stolen from outside his house. In this connection, a case FIR number 66/2025 U/S 303(1) BNS was registered at Police Station Majalta.
During the course of investigation, a police team of PS Majalta, led by SHO Abdul Satar, rounded up some suspects, and one of them confessed to the crime, leading to the recovery of the stolen bike.
The accused, identified as Maskeen Ali, son of Bashir Ahmed, resident of Garh Samna Banj, Tehsil Majalta, District Udhampur, has been arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on to ascertain involvement of the accused in other theft cases.
