DODA, Oct 30: Police here today recovered a minor kidnapped girl from Delhi and arrested her kidnaper.
As per reports, a complaint was filed by the parents of the missing girl at Police Station Doda after which an FIR with No. 238/2025 U/S 137(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Doda.
Acting on the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, a special team of cops from Police Station Doda was deputed to track the kidnapped girl.
After strenuous efforts, the team recovered the girl from Delhi and arrested the accused involved in kidnapping and he was identified as Yasir Hussain, son of Mohd Shafi Wani, resident of Behota, Marmat.
The girl has been kept at one stop centre Doda and will be handed over to her family after investigative procedure.
