JAMMU, Oct 30: Shri Chandi Mata Sewa Samiti will organise the annual Shri Chandi Mata Jagran at Ved Mandir ground, Jammu on November 1.
Addressing a press conference here today, Suneet Raina, chairman Shri Chandi Mata Sewa Samiti said that this year the event will feature a special Mangal Yagya to pay tribute to the devotees who lost their lives in the calamities of Machail-Chasoti, Vaishno Devi and Manimahesh.
He informed that the Mangal Yagya will be performed under the guidance and supervision of Jyotishacharya Dr. Shiv Prasad Raina and Swami Kamlesha Nand Ji Maharaj with participation of scholars and students of Maharaja Pratap Singh Ved Vidyalaya, Ved Mandir, Jammu.
The event will commence with Sarva Mangal Paath, a special Mangal Yagya which will be followed by Jagran for the whole night by eminent musicians and singers from J&K and neighbouring States.
The organisers have invited all the devotees to visit the occasion and get blessing of the Goddess.
Those who were present in the press conference were Rohit Gupta, president; general manager, Subash Nanda and others.
