JAMMU, Oct 30: The Shooting Ball Association of Jammu & Kashmir has announced the Junior Boys and Girls teams to represent the UT at the 44th Junior National Shooting Ball Championship 2025, to be held at HRIT University, Ghaziabad, from November 7 to 9.
Following two days of trials at International Delhi Public School, Jammu, 12 teams from across J&K participated. Based on performance, skill and consistency, 23 athletes were selected.
The Boys Team comprises Keshav Manhas, Sahil Singh, Gagan Sharma, Naman Sharma, Vansh Sharma, Rithvick Singh, Aditya Dev Sharma, Ashutosh Uppal, Sumit Sharma, Vivek Bhardwaj, Ansh Verma and Vansh Singh. The Girls Team includes Divjot Kour, Manvi Sharma, Mahpreet Kour, Manya Rajput, Sudha Panjoor, Janvi Rajput, Samaira Singh, Tamana Kalsi, Alia Choudhary, Misthi Sharma and Anandika.
The selection ceremony was attended by Mohammad Fiesel Qureshi, SSP EOW Jammu. Dr. Suminder Singh, President of the Association, congratulated the players and lauded the coaches, selectors and organizing committee, wishing the J&K contingent success at the national championship.
